ABOUT ME
Hi there, I'm Fyn. I've just graduated in Music and Sound Production with a BA First-Class Honours and am now navigating my way into the music industry, specialising in recording, production and mixing.
My recent focus has been exploring the recording studio's impact on creativity and how to use it to develop creativity. Through it, I composed, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered an alt-rock EP called "Studium," which you can listen to below, along with other projects I have worked on.
I have an eclectic taste in music, but up to now, I generally focus on producing guitar-based music, as I play guitar, but I love to produce and mix all kinds of genres. My approach to music creation allows ideas to evolve rather than restricting my own and others' creativity. Collaborating and experiencing new perspectives on musical approaches is at the core of what drives me to pursue a career in music and sound.

Confident in major DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Ableton Live.
Studio set up, maintenance and cable management.
Experienced in miking and tracking live instruments using SSL consoles.
Great understanding of signal flow, gain staging and experience with patchbays and outboard gear.
File management and Metadata practices.
Advanced Mixing and Mastering technqiues.

MUSIC
These tracks are part of an EP, "Studium", I created while at university, which experimented with the recording studio as a musical instrument and how it affects creativity.
I produced, mixed, and mastered every track.
COMPOSITION AND
SOUND DESIGN
This is a film audio project producing original audio for an edited clip from The Avengers (2012). Through composition and sound design, I changed the narrative from the heroic and uplifting feeling the original soundtrack portrays to one that emphasises the destruction, chaos and brutality of war.
This was a sound design project producing original audio for a CGI clip and explored advanced sound design techniques using my own recordings.
